Dr. Marco Alberti is a leading ophthalmic surgeon. He already has almost 5 years of experience in CISIS/MyoRing treatment of keratoconus and myopia.
Dr. Alberti graduated from the German Gymnasium in Milan, Italy. He studied medicine at the University of Milan where he graduated with a score of 108/110. His thesis focused on "Magnifying optical and electronic aids for leo vision treatment".
He specialized in ophthalmology and graduated as an ophthalmic surgeon with a score of 70/70 and a thesis on "Visual Rehabilitation in Diabetic Maculopathy" at the Institute HS Raffaele Milan, Prof. Brancato.
Dr. Alberti concentrates mainly on corneal and refractive surgery with particular attention to keratoconus.
He was the first one to sart with CISIS/MyoRing treatment in keratoconus and myopia in Italy some 5 years ago. In 2015 he performed the first PocketMaker Deep Anterior Keratoplasty (PDALK).
Dr. Alberti gives lectures at national and international congresses and cooperates with other colleagues in Italy in the field of CISIS for Keratoconus.
In Milan, he runs a private practice and he performs the surgeries at Casa di Cura Columbus.
